Who we are

This grass roots publication is the life source for a community that is not easily afforded viable access to diverse and accessible media. San Antonio and the surrounding counties have become accustomed to relevant news brought to them in both English and Spanish since 1913.

Our Circulation:

  • 45,000 copies printed and distributed weekly

  • Bilingual content in English and Spanish

Our Mission:

La Prensa Texas  is proud to announce that we are no longer operating as a nonprofit organization. In the current climate of local and national politics, it is crucial for us to report freely and without limitations. This transition allows us to continue our commitment to covering the issues that matter most to our community, unencumbered by the constraints often associated with nonprofit status.

We recognize that these times demand a bold approach to journalism. Our mission remains to provide our readers with the information necessary to engage in informed discussions and make educated decisions. By operating independently, we can uphold our values and deliver critical coverage of the political landscape without compromise.

We appreciate the support of our readers and the community as we embark on this new chapter. Our dedication to quality journalism continues as we strive to serve you better.
